The staff went out of the way for us and that meant a lot to us. They have great rates. And we will stay there again.

Filthy smelled of curry and grease.
This hotel was filthy, smelled of curry very strongly. Front desk staff gave us a can of Lysol and apologized for the smell of curry from the previous inhabitants cooking. Could not switch rooms was glad to get out of there!

For the money we spent it was probably a good deal.
The staff was very unfriendly when we checked in made it known to everyone she was stressed.
If you want a motel to just say you have a bed this is the place to stay. We did not use the kitchenette due to it having dirt and grease all over the stove, the microwave was dirty, the sink dripped constantly, the fridge was less than clean. I would not recommend this motel to anyone unless like us you wanted to go to the area and there is no where else to stay.

The price of the hotel was fantastic!
The only thing is that one morning we were woken up early in the morning by maids next door.
This hotel was very nice for the price we paid. I was actually very impressed. It had a kitchenette, dining table, television. Very roomy. I suppose the carpets could have been a little cleaner and the maids could have been a little quieter, but it was very nice and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. It's not on the main strip going through gulf shores, but that is good because we didn't have to worry about traffic. Also, there was a small club across the parking lot, so for us spring breakers, it was great! However, if you have children, it is far enough away to not be a problem. It took about 10 minutes or so to get to the beach, but for the price, it was well worth the drive. The hotel was excellent, but most of the people of gulf shores were not friendly. If we went to a fast food place, Wal-Mart, thrift shop. Most of the people were not nice. It was very disappointing. There were a few people who were very kind. The beaches are also wonderful!
