New Hotel 7/05. Free High Speed Internet, Hot Breakfast Buffet, Indoor Pool/Spa, Exercise facility. Easy access to I-65 and I-59/I-20, 5 miles North of Birmingham. Pool and whirlpool closed for repairs until 19 January 2007. All Comfort Suites are smoke free. read more

This Comfort Suites was a disappointment! We had recently stayed in another in Jackson, TN & it was very clean & family friendly. This room was so bad that we were afraid to let our feet touch the floor. Please don't make the mistake that we did by staying there.

The location.
The room didn't look clean. There were spots on the couch and floor. They didn't change our sheets or replace towels the next day.

The bed was extremely plush and comfortable. The furnishing were very nice.
All the rooms were non-smoking.

The room was very clean and neat. The bed was plush. The decor was very nice. It is one of the best rooms I have stayed in. The bathroom was large and roomy with a curved shower curtain. The room attendants were very helpful. The male at the front desk was unfriendly, and the female that checked us out gave me the wrong bill.

Carpeting and furniture looked new and clean.
No hot water. Cold showers. Manager couldn't explain.

The hotel rooms looked clean. The location was not great. Really old, run down homes were right beside it and there was very loud music coming from one of them that night. Luckily, our room wasn't on that side. Also, there was no hot water. Manager couldn't explain and couldn't fix it.

Good location - out of town but close to St. Vincents Hospital.
No restaurant attached (just a Waffle House).

Nice, clean rooms with sofa and chair. Very close to Birmingham and St. Vincents Hospital. Easy parking, easy access to I65.
