Very friendly and professional staff members.
Hallways need to be cleaned, TV's sets, they're not in bedrooms.

Hotel was convenient to the city.
Excellent place to stay on our way to the Grand Canyon. Rooms were clean and staff helpful. I would stay there again.

Very comfortable beds and nice location on route 66.
The building's exterior was ugly.
This was a nice hotel for what we paid. The jacuzzi tub in the bedroom was nice and the front desk personnel were helpful. The room also had the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, in a 2 star type hotel.

Free happy hour & breakfast.
Looked a little old and run down from the outside. But the rooms were better than I expected. Beds were comfy. Free happy hour cocktails and popcorn. Also free breakfast in the morning, but not the best.

The hot breakfast was above expectations.
The stairs were uneven and the property is quite hilly.
I felt overall the staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff was smoking outside where breakfast was being served while waiting for their morning jobs. (And although mentioned didn't realize how loud the nearby train would actually be).

The view from our room was amazing!
Black mold in shower, garbage on floor of room, Jacuzzi tub knob broken.
The value of this hotel is there. If they were to properly maintain the rooms, use air freshener in the rooms, and properly clean them, it would've been perfect. Very quiet and an amazing view from our jacuzzi suite. Until they fix those things it feels more like a motel then a hotel. The breakfast that they included the next morning was amazing! A southern breakfast: biscuits & gravy, canadian bacon, country potatoes, belgium waffles, bread, cereal, wonderful scrambled eggs, juice, tea, coffee, hot cocoa. I'm assuming that it changes, however it was restaurant homemade quality that would've cost us over $20 anywhere else. Every night they bring they have social hour where you can have one beer or soda for free and relax. Also unlike most places in Flagstaff, you couldn't hear the train. read more

Convenient to traveling to Grand Canyon.
Disorganized management, train across street all night whistle blew, shoddy construction throughout.
Tried to check in 3x and kept being told 45 more minutes. They didn't have enough sheets and towels to make the bed. Everything skimped on. Breakfast was decent, happy hour too. Staff try but management seems bad.
