The Days Inn & Suites in Surprise Arizona, is located in the Northwest Valley. Surprise is one of the fasting growing cities in Arizona.* We offer a free deluxe continental breakfast, free high speed internet, free USA Today and free local telephone calls. Our interior hotel was designed for comfort, with an outdoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, business center, guest laundry and elevator. All rooms include a microwave, refrigerator, iron, hairdryer, coffeemaker and clock radio.* We have several restaurants nearby, as well as many attractions such as: Surprise Stadium - 3 miles, Peoria Sports Complex - 6 miles, University of Phoenix Stadium- 9 miles, Boswell Memorial Hospital - 3 miles, Dell Web Memorial Hospital - 4 miles, Sun City 5 miles, Sundome - 2 miles, Luke Air Force Base-8 miles -Wildlife World Zoo - 8 miles, White Tank Mountain Recreation Area - 10 miles, Phoenix International Raceway (NASCAR) - 17 miles, Heard Museum West 3 miles, Aquatic Center 3 miles. Please be advised that when making a reservation we need a valid credit card. On the date of arrival before you check in we will authorize your credit card for the whole stay. If it declines we will try to contact you so please leave a convenient phone number where we can reach you. If we cannot contact you we will cancel your reservation. As of June 1, 2009 Hotel is completely Non Smoking. Proximity to University of Phoenix stadium. I attended the Super Bowl.
The household cleaner used at the hotel left a distinct chlorine smell.

This hotel was quite acceptable as it was primarily a place to sleep that was convenient to the University of Phoenix Stadium where I attended the Super Bowl. The Desert Palm Restaurant/Cafe (walking distance) provided great diner food at very reasonable prices.

The desk staff was very nice and tried to help.

Basic hotel, mattresses were
poor, we would roll towards the middle. Sheets did not stay in place, maid did not clean room, no creamer for the coffee in the morning. Pillows were hard as a rock.

Staff was very knowledgable and eager to help.
The room was a bit musty until the AC was turned on.

Great experience! The staff was helpful in all requests and directions to nearby attractions. The room was clean and the pool was heated enough to enjoy in January. The best part was the waffle breakfast (more of a variety than usual in a motel's breakfast) that saved us a trip to the local cafe. I'm planning another stay there this summer!
