Convenient to downtown shopping.
No coffee in the rooms. Too loud, we were by the elevator and the halls were very loud.

There was only one small mirror in the room, and being an old building everything squeaked. The bed was good but the king sized bed had only three small pillows. The tub was nice, towels were good. Hotel employees were very nice. I would probably not stay there again due to the noise.

The location
Heating is poor. Uses a window unit to heat/cool room. Was nosiy and ineffective.

No coffee service in room and no coffee available on Holiday in the hotel. Had to drive to the highway to a gas station to get coffee.

They charged $59.49 us for an "upgrade" we did not ask for.

We have stayed at The Basin Park and The Crescent Hotel several times over the past few years. It is old but still very charming. However, I won't be staying there again. When I got my bank card statement, I saw an extra charge of $59.49 after I had already paid for the hotel room. When I called to inquire about the charge, I was told a manager would call me. Eventually, a hotel employee (not the manager) called to tell me it was a mistake and they would refund the money within the next two or three days. There was no apology or explanation read more

Location, historic, and
front desk.
No TV remote in room; outside lights bled through shades.

Great history and charm; too much light from outside after we turned room lights out.

Excellent location in downtown Eureka Springs.
Coffee shop was closed Mon - Wed.

Lovely historic hotel, still in need of renovation in some areas. Basin Park is haunted - true and we had a hauntingly good time. Balcony Bar had limited menu. The in house spa Serenity Spa was wonderful and very reasonable priced. There is no parking in downtown Eureka Springs and check in was a little difficult as you could not park in front of hotel to unload your luggage. You had to find a parking spot somewhere in the vicinity and tote your luggage to the hotel. read more

Basin Park is an historic hotel in the heart of Eureka Springs. helpful, friendly staff.
My boyfriend said the shower was too short, but he's a very tall guy.

I have stayed at the Basin Park before and it's almost a throwback to another time. you can get lost in another area in the building and the surrounding grounds. we enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff and our room. I have always liked the Basin Park hotel.
