Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Free deluxe continental breakfast. Humboldt State University, Arcata Community, Redwood National Park, Trinidad and Clam Beach nearby. Complimentary breakfast was the best of this place.
Pool closed for painting, hot tub room was not inviting, older motel not a hotel style.

Prices jacked up for graduation weekend, was not a hotel, was old motel style, thin walls, loud groups, room not very clean, found remains of prior occupants in room, did not even sleep in room one night, was better in car!

The staff was excellent, very nice and friendly.

The place was clearly in need of a remodel but the bed was comfortable.

I liked the staff and the bed.
The hotel could have used a refurbishing.

The staff was working very hard to take care of the customers. There was lots of activity in the hall until 10:00 pm. Then, it got quiet. It would've been nice if the bathroom sink had been newer and not needing replacement.

Fresh breakfast every morning, way more than I expected. I was very surprised.
The location wasn't in such a great area, but what can you do about it.

Friendly staff. Comfort Inn was in a convenient location near the freeway. Breakfast was good, you could actually make your own waffles. Room was very clean, and had a comfortable bed. If you wanted food there were places right down the street, and a grocery store was there too. People around there were friendly. Someone actually recommended that it was a good idea to stay in Arcata rather than Eureka. read more

It was close to where my meetings were held.
I think it needs to be freshened up painting, carpet etc.

I would stay there again if something newer was not available.

Over priced.

Clean and convenient from 101. Near restaurants. I thought it was a little overpriced compared to other hotels we stayed at on our trip to Calif.
