The Claremont Hotel, Club And Spa

The history at this hotel is reason enough to visit. Great views (when it's clear). Not much to eat close by. Nice place. I do think it is a little out-of-hand to have a 50% upcharge on parking and resort fees on top of what you pay. There should be a checkbox for that. "Would you like to see properties that have additional parking and/or resort fees? To get a good deal at a good hotel. It's a beautiful property. Perhaps the best looking hotel that I've stayed in. The lobby and restaurants were great. Our rooms were smaller than the photo tour showed, and they looked out the back of the hotel over the roof with heating ducts, etc.

The Claremont is located on a hillside, and projects a truly imposing and majestic appearance, both as to size and architecture. The landscaping is lovely, and there are numerous facilities for sports (tennis, swimming, etc.).

This is a wonderful place to stay. But be aware there is a $25 charge for parking and $20 charge for facilities fee. Otherwise it was wonderful and fully met my expectations.

A beautiful hotel situated above Berkeley and looking back over the bay and the bridge. Stunning views from the restaurants and rooms. This is a world-class experience.

For a very well maintained older hotel the halls were wide the rooms large the carpets fresh the staff excellent and the views and ambiance of the place are superb.
