Solo Traveler
Ended up in a smoking room because confirmed non-smoking room was not available upon arrival. Night manager blamed problem. Sink in room did not have a stopper, and experienced plumbing problems in the room as well.

After this hotel I stayed at an expensive one with my family and they didn't have free parking (what a pain) or any kind of complimentary breakfast I felt ripped off. I will not book there again, but I will at La Quinta.

They don't ask you if you want smoking or non and if they are out of non-smoking they do not disclose to you that the room you are getting is smoking. our 1st night was in a smoking room. They offered us to check out another smoking room (in case it smelled less), but it smelled just as bad. They did not accommodate us for the 2 Queen beds we requested earlier by phone since we were coming in late. We had to move rooms the following morning which was on the 3rd floor. We were placed in a room just above a the reception room where a wedding or quincenera dance was taking place. We noticed that when we got back to our room about 5 pm from our outing the 2nd day, it was not cleaned. I called to have them clean it but then told the lady to come back in 30-40 since we were stepping back out. We got back that night to find it still wasn't cleared. I called at the desk to complain and asked them at that point to exchange our towels for fresh ones.

Family Traveling with Teens
The hotel has everything I want even if I don't use all of the amenities on each stay. It has everything from an iron and hair dryer to business center, pool and work out area. The room has a fridge and microwave.

Senior Travelers
Room comfortable, terrific shower, but bathroom light / fan was horribly noisy and didn't remove odors or steam at all. Hallways a little tacky / dirty, but not overly so for a college area hotel. Easy driving access from and back to the freeway and very interesting neighborhood to walk about.

This is one of the best hotel in Berkeley area, where has free Internet, free printing in the business room. It's very clean, gated parking, the staff was very nice and friendly, the room is very nice, and we requested a king size bed with the same price on Priceline. This hotel offers great continental breakfast with many healthier choices, and it all worth every penny of staying, highly recommended.
