The room was clean.
The heating unit was extremely noisy, so I froze.
This was the Days Inn in Chowchilla, California. The hotel sets almost on top of a railroad track. The heating unit was in the wall and extremely noisy. So noisy and loud I had to keep it turned off and I froze all night.

It was close to the freeway.
It was very old and outdated. Non smoking room smelled of stale cigarette smoke.
I am a handicapped driver. When I arrived, the hotel owner parked his private vehicle in the handicapped parking stall and no placard or disable plates were visible. When asked about this, he asked me if he wanted me to move his vehicle. This is very disrespectful to handicapped people and to park his vehicle there is just pure laziness. The rooms were very old and outdated. I had a non-smoking room and the roomed had an overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke. I travel frequently, due to business, and this was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. read more

Microwave, coffee, refrigerator in room - always great! Motel was within walking & short driving distances to several restaurants.
No security issues, safe, clean & pleasant. Front desk staff helpful, friendly & informative.

Absolutely nothing.
Dirty .
Avoid this hotel. The rooms are dirty. AC couldn't keep the room cool. Bathroom window was open and there was a thick layer of dust everywhere. If there is no where else to stay, you are better off sleeping in your car than this place. Also, staff was not friendly or helpful.

It was close to the local train.

Nothing.
Loud heater, broken Jacuzzi tub missing stopper, cracked sink and hard bed.
Very old building. Faded and stain bedspread on hard bed. Large wall-mounted heated was very loud and TV placed right beside it, so hearing TV was difficult. Sink had cracks, and the Jacuzzi tub did not work and the stopper was missing. Even the continental breakfast was a disappointment, only cold cereal, coffee and watery juice was offered.

It would take a novel.
This property was a mess. Bugs of every kind, strong smell of cow crap, railroad crossing nearby, old, rundown, a real nightmare.
