Description of Fantasy Springs Resort And Casino
A new and exciting destination resort is taking shape in the eastern Coachella Valley. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino will open in late December, 2004, and set a new standard in desert hospitality. The major features of the new Fantasy Springs Resort Casino include a 12-story, 250-luxury hotel and a 100,000 square-foot Special Events Center - but that is just the beginning. The Fantasy Springs Resort Special Events Center will set the new standard for group functions, conventions and concerts in the greater Palm Springs resort area. From private meetings to large-scale exhibits and conventions, the new Fantasy Springs Special Events Center will be an outstanding choice for business and pleasure. Constructed by Howard S. Wright Company, builders of Seattle's Space Needle, the facility is designed to host events that seat up to 4,500 people, yet can be reconfigured to handle multiple smaller functions at the same time. The Resort at Fantasy Springs offers the highest level of customer service in the Coachella Valley. At the resort, you will enjoy beautifully appointed rooms, high-speed Internet access in each room, 27-inch flat screen television with in-room on demand movies, 24-hour room service, concierge service, complimentary in-room coffee, and free valet parking. When not being pampered by our outstanding associates or resting in your state-of-the-art guest room, you will be able to choose from an array of activities, including swimming in our 103-foot long pool or soaking in our hot tub or tanning pool, playing beach volleyball, sipping cocktails at sunset in the valley's only Sky Bar or at our indoor / outdoor pool bar, listening to live music at our outdoor amphitheatre, or relaxing in our open-air lobby lounge. The Resort at Fantasy Springs will also offer you a vast array of dining options. A new fine dining restaurant will be complemented by a lavish 250-seat indoor / outdoor live action buffet. Appetizers and cocktails will be served at the top of the reso read more

Rooms were very clean.
The buffet lunch was worse than terrible. Food was dried out and barely warm.

The buffet was terrible. If you are going to have a 24-hr buffet, then the food should always be warm and edible. The chicken besides being cold was dried out. The Chinese food was cold. The macaroni and cheese was congealed and cold. The other restaurants in the hotel were excellent but I felt like asking for my money back after eating at the buffet.

Casino
was not updated and
old machines.

Was really nice 5 years ago now it has fallen down in value. We stayed at this hotel several times before but will probably stay at a different one in the future.

Room was spacious.
No spa.

It was a casino, so it smelled of one (even with no smoking signs around), but in general it was clean and simple. It was a little expensive for what you get, but overall a positive experience.

Pool was closed during our stay with no notification..

I like this hotel. I've stayed at Fantasy Springs several times, during the Music & Arts Festival and at other times during the year. It's a nice spot to relax by the pool by day and hit the casino by night.
