Description of Econo Lodge Gorman
The Econo Lodge is conveniently located on Interstate 5, at the top of the grapevine between Bakersfield and Los Angeles, and just 5 miles from Lebec, just 30 minutes from Six Flags Magic Mountain. We are also just a short drive to Pyramid Lake, Quail Lake, Hungry Valley Recreational Park, and Los Padres National Forest. The Meadows Field Airport is 37 miles away. Los Angeles is approximately two hours and Burbank is one hour from the hotel. Our business and leisure travelers will enjoy amenities like free wireless Internet access in the lobby, outdoor swimming pool, truck parking, free local calls, spacious work area, and free continental breakfast. There was no noise from neighboring rooms.
The shower leaked everywhere, and the tub did not drain.

This place is desperately mediocre. The bed was uncomfortable, there was no clock in the room, and the bathroom was pretty dirty. When I checked out in the morning, another guest was leaving also, and he was cutting his stay short because his room had been so awful. The front desk staff was totally unconcerned about his complaints, which is pretty off-putting. A hotel should at least pretend to care about its guests comfort. read more

Convenient, cheap, clean room, quiet, friendly management.
No complaints.

It was just off the main interstate so that was helpful, the room was clean and the staff -N-management were friendly. Its just a place to stay for the night on your way to somewhere else.
