Better hotel than most in this area for the money.
Area for breakfast too small and was
crowded.
I've tried most every hotel in this price range in the downtown LA area when going for 1 night on business. The Comfort Inn city center was by far the nicest, cleanest, safest and I will stop trying to find a good budget place! The staff recommended a Mexican restaurant up the street that was also excellent. For the first time, I didn't feel bad about the accommodations, and was close to downtown for work. The pool looked clean and inviting, will hope to use it on summer trips! Only draw back was the hospital about 5 blocks away, so you couldn't keep the windows open at night because of sirens. read more

It was cleaner then most.
Noisy, and had no refrigerator.
Hispanics hanging in the hallway/ balcony at night making noise with their
TV loud and doors open. I asked for a refrigerator because mine was clogged with ice. It needed defrosting. I had to put my food in the manager's refrigerator and kept going down to get my food. That was annoying. Sometimes nobody was at the desk. Carpet could be replaced in the near future, odd oder. read more

Breakfast had a great selection to choose from.
Would not walk around this location at night, did not seem too safe.
Loved the decor in this hotel and the breakfast offered was more than I have experienced elsewhere. Staff was friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The lobby looked very nice and it was very convenient that there was a place to park the car.
The room looked at a hall so no daylight. Also the soda machines made a lot of noise. The neighbourhood.
Clean and comfortable hotel. Not romantic though, more businesslike.

Affordable and a cheap parking!
It is a kind of shabby. The room didn't feel clean.
The hotel is fine, if you're going to be out exploring and not using the hotel for anything more than sleeping. It's not the best, but the sheets were clean, parking is cheap and the internet is free.

You get a free breakfast, the room was very clean and nice, metro (westlake/macarthur park) is 5 minutes away.
I can't tell something I didn't like becaue the hotel was totally fine for me.
We were a bit scared because of a lot of negative reviews about the hotel we read before. but I have to say I do not agree with the comments made about the scary neighborhood.
