It was better and more than I expected. The room was very nice and spacious.
Everything was fine.
Great location, great value for the money. Better than most Comfort Inns i've been to. The lobby is a bit much, but you can't beat the room for the price.

Easy access to great LA area.
Not much going on in the immediate neighborhood.
Great high ceilings on the third floor. And the complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch.

Nothing.
Smells bad.
Comfort inn in Hollywood is not clean. You need to wear slippers all the time bed. The carpet is so disgusting. I am so embarrassed with my guests who came all the way far. Boston and NY.

Room and TV were nice.
Extra charges.
If you don't mind getting nickel-and-dime, this is the place for you.

Clean.
Security officer was lying on couch watching
TV when we returned to hotel at 3 am.
This is the city and if I can get into the hotel unnoticed at 3 am. While security is lying on the couch watching TV so could someone who is not a guest. I do not think it is a hotel problem as much as a security issue.

The lovely Spanish maid who spoke no English was fabulous and sincere and lovely.
The attitude, the fees for parking, if a visitor came to visit and was told different info about check in, and internet.
In all good conscience, could not recommend this hotel, would rather sleep in my car in an alley and save the money, sorry to be blunt but very disappointed.

Gave me a room w/ Jacuzzi.
Paint smell in the rooms.
The paint smell in the rooms was a bit irritating. Otherwise, I can't really say, because I got a room upgrade due to some mishaps. The parking garage was a life saver (storm...), but cost extra. Location ok, directly near 101 and reasonably close to where I had to go, easy access.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean hotel. Nicer than many higher star places we've stayed.
Internet service (which we paid for) was very slow and occasionally wouldn't connect at all.
A last-minute trip to Hollywood brought us to this hotel. It was an extremely pleasant experience easy to find. Parking was just $5. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean throughout. (Just want to note that they appeared to be doing renovations on our floor, but it never disturbed us in any way). A generous continental breakfast was provided, with cereal, coffee, tea, juices, fruit, muffins and I think waffles. But we also had a mini-fridge, coffeepot and microwave in our room. The only possible complaint we had was the Internet service that we paid a couple dollars for barely worked. Often we couldn't get online, or if we did, it was VERY slow. But we were very happy with this place and would seek it out specifically if back in the area. read more

I liked the breakfast that's about it.
The employees.
First I don't like the fact that you need to pay 9.50 for parking. Thee room didn't have a coffee maker, it suppose to have one. Second when I book the room again they called 9 times in 15 minutes to get the parking fee, as I explained I am taking a shower and will come down to pay. They even came to my door twice and this is all around 8:30 a.m.
