I loved the residential area the hotel was situated in very quiet but and close to the ocean.
In the 2 bedroom suite, there was no common sitting area in the room.

Quiet, clean, and private.
Kitchen was poorly supplied, and the decor was outdated.
Nice big suite with lots of space. Kitchen really needs some better frying pans and a wine opener!

Location
Everything else.
It is obvious that hotel undergone some re-configuration where 1-bedroom suite was converted to 2-bedroom suites. Floors are dirty and staff places fresh towels on the floor (while they are getting ready to go into rooms to clean)

A very quiet and peaceful getaway with immaculate surrounding grounds. The room was very spacious with excess amenities including a private deck.
It would have been a plus to have some bacon or sausage to go with the waffles.
If you don't mind driving a few miles into town, Howard Johnson's Inn is the place to go. No traffic, it's quiet, the rooms are beyond spacious and the price is half of what you'd pay for in the downtown area where their rooms are small and noise from traffic is a constant!

Very quiet and and nice size room.
1 large towel per person, difficult entrance to tub/shower. Manager was not very friendly or helpful.

Hotel was nestled in Pacific Grove.
It could go for some modern designing upgrades (sheets, pictures, accessories).
This was a great studio we asked and get the king size bed which gave me the best nights sleep in a while. It had its own kitchen, sitting area and back patio. Parking was tight but you were able to use the carport/garages at no extra charge. It could have gone for some modern decor but no big deal. Great for the family or romantic enough for a couple. I definitely recommend this hotel! read more

Excellent location. Great room. Clean and plenty of room for our family.
Bathrooms could be a little updated.
Great value. It looks like this hotel used to be a condo complex that was converted. Interesting layout of rooms with the smaller bedroom hosting the kitchenette, but it would perfectly for our family of 5. Fantastic location close to the Asilomar and away from the noise of Monterey, but not too far. Breakfast was good. Make your own waffles, cereal and pastries.
