It was a clean and reasonably clean.
It was a little over priced.

Only thing that would take me back to this motel was the fact that it was quiet and close to where I needed to be. The breakfast was less than complete, the towels were not changed one day and the motel amenities such as soap and shampoo were not restocked.

Great place for breakfast down the street.
Loud softball game across the street early in the morning.

Clean.
No amenities, not even a snack machine.
Clean room, but very basic, and not within walking distance of ANYTHING. No pool, no public areas, not even a snack machine available. But it felt clean and safe, which are the most important factors of any budget hotel.

Centraly located.
Kind of dirty. Last staff member called me at 11:30 am and demanded to know if I was checking out!
Staff didn't seem to care, if I was there or not. No wonder it was only half full on a Friday night on a super hot day and only three blocks to the beach.

staff was nice and the room was very clean.
Nice hotel. Not too far away from the beach. Be careful when pulling into the driveway as it is uphill (you're likely to scratch your bumper).

The beds were very comfortable.
The continental breakfast was only a Danish, fruit bar, juice and coffee.
Very clean, comfortable, friendly, and affordable.

They answered all my questions and requests with a smile!
Beds a little to firm.
I was there with my wife and two kids ( 2 years and 6 months) the first night and my mother-in-law, brother-in-law joined us with 4 more children (4,7,13,13) the second night. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were hit by a small storm Saturday night with heavy winds. Our kids were scared because a door that goes above the rooms, maintenance I assume, was rattling. They offered to nail it down for us. I passed but was impressed how far they were willing to go for us. From our window (3rd floor) we had a great view of the city leading to the beach. We were very happy with the view and their friendly staff. I would just recommend bringing extra blankets, theirs are a little rough. Plenty of pillows their, 4 per bed. read more

Clean and conveniently located. Everything we needed!
Next to a major road and some sports fields.
All the reviews I read warned that the hotel was next to a loud road. I live in Queens and my girlfriend lives in the East Village: it was perfectly quiet to us! (The windows are more than sufficient to keep the little noise there is out.) In fact, I noticed more noise from the sports fields in the neighboring park than from the road. Otherwise, the room was clean; there were no frills, but everything we needed; and the location was perfect for where we were going. read more
