I have been a strong supporter and user of Priceline for about 10 years now. I have never had the negative experience I had staying at this hotel and how the front desk attendant treated me. Upon arrival we had asked for a non-smoking room on the "quiet" side of the hotel (major busy interstate on one side)and the front desk attendant said "no problem" as they had plenty of rooms. Clearly their occupancy level was way down for that evening. However once he pulled up or reservation and vocally noted that we had booked through Priceline in front of everyone waiting in the lobby he then stated that our rooms would have to be "smoking" and would be on the "interstate" side of the building. Needless to say I was shocked since he just stated that he had "plenty of rooms" available! He then went on the say that we could "upgrade" to the same room he had just offered prior to knowing we were a Priceline customer for a $10 fee!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?!?! He would not budge from his position stating that it was the "policy" of the owners of the hotel. So I decided to check out the room (how bad could it be?) as I am currently on a tight budget due to the current economy crisis. I went to the room only to open the door to what smelled like a restroom truck stop filled with people smoking...it was horrible. On top of that I was indeed given a room on the "noisy" interstate side of the hotel...and to add insult to injury he put me right across from the elevator to boot! What a jerk!!! Needless to say I went back to the front desk attendant and paid the $10 fee for the upgrade as he had me by the baXXs!. In ten years of using Priceline I have NEVER had a hotel treat me as a "second class" customer because I had booked on with Priceline. I think that this HOTEL should be REMOVED from the Priceline hotel list! read more

Inadequate parking. Full of gangbangers on Saturday night, eyeballing car and contents even before I started unpacking my trunk.

The convenience to the freeways & basketball tournament gyms
There really was not decent dining places nearby. Also for the amount of rooms, need more lounge chairs.

We stayed at this hotel for my daughters basketball tourny. It was great for convenience on and off the freeway and to several places I felt like I was centrally located. The staff were not overly friendly and did not go out of there way. One of the staff knocked something off my counter or into the sink and ruined something, but no one would admit this of course and front desk offered no resolve. Not too happy w/ this. read more

The staff was uncooperative, to say the least, and in trying to shake me down for more money, I found that response to be disgusting, as well.

I know that this was a two star hotel, but I was completely shocked at how poor the customer service was.
