Cleanliness of the rooms.
No hot water one morning.
Not only us but another couple arriving at the same time could not get in. We could see the desk from the door but no one was there. Rang the bell and called the hotel number. Finally called another number and a very unapologetic person finally came to the door. Then in the morning the water wasn't hot. The person on days was very apologetic and comped a breakfast. I have stayed here many times. This was my first bad experience. read more

Great location near I-15 & Kinkos next door.
Clean rooms, great service and a
terrific location for business. An affordable alternative to the pricey business hotels in downtown SD.

The location and nearby stores and restaurants.
There was no hot water when taking a shower no matter what time of the day or night it was.

Clean and convenient to nearby restaurants.
Parking was tight and
spaces were too small.
Great little hotel near all that San Diego has to offer. What was strange was the parking lines. It looked like they striped them only for motor bikes or mini cars. I took two spots because it didn't make sense the way they positioned them.

Restaurant food was very good.
Staff not very professional or too friendly.
Overall stay was what I expected. I was surprised how good the restaurant food tasted. The staff could use a little training on how to present themselves professionally. They just seemed out of their element. Not really sure how to really explain it.

Close to the Stadium.
Not a single thing.
You are very close to the stadium! There is actually a path for you to walk from the hotel to the game and avoid all the game day traffic. The staff was great and the hotel was very clean. If you are a sports fan and traveling on Sunday, they have appetizers and drinks after the game ready for you when you return to the hotel and the evening game on. I love this hotel! I can't wait to stay there again. read more

Good location, nice staff, comfortable room.
Bad pillows, bad water (tasted like mildew), homely decor.
It was cheap, safe, convenient. It is near shops and restaurants. It is clean. Staff is nice. Hotel is very plain and homely. Pillows are terrible. Water tasted very funny. Shower almost took my skin off and I could not adjust it (Spray too hard).

I thought it was clean and cozy.
They didn't have any coffee in the lobby.
