Hallways and room smells that Febreeze couldn't fix,.
The front desk clerk went looking for the housekeeper to find out which nonsmoking rooms had been cleaned. A half-hour later I was in my room. To get there I used the one creaky elevator and made my way through the worst-smelling hallways to my non-smoking room that reeked of Febreeze (the hallway smells leak into your room - there's no escaping it.). There are no amenities here - the pool was closed the entire week I was here. Renovations were supposedly going on, but they clearly hadn't made it to my room yet - a 19" TV, 60's decor and a refrigerator with a noisy pump. Maid service is available for an extra charge if you stay less than 7 days, so people put their trash out in the hallways, stairways and even outside, where it sits for days (hence the smell!). I liked the appliances the hotel provided and the kitchen area made our stay very convinient.
The television was small and did not have many channels.
Overall it was comfortable and convinient. It is also clean. I will certainly be back.

Reeked of smoke in the hallways and dirty sink.
The smell of cigarette smoke was unpleasant in hallways and room. The bed did not have a mattress cover underneath the sheets, but instead a small pad; las would be used in a convalescent hospital. That was tacky.

Spacious, quite, clean.
The 2 level hallways could be better cooled. The air was a little stale.
The hotel was clean, the staff was polite, and my room was roomy, fast internet connection, large bathrooms, and good climate control. I would stay there again.
