The room was clean. And it was moderately close to all of Santa Barbara's attractions. Overall, solid hotel.
The hotel lobby smelled on the first day, like sewage. The toiletries were non-existent. You had to request. They do provide soap.

I think that this is OK for those who want to stay somewhere moderately comfortable while traveling. I would not want to stay here for more than a few nights because it just doesn't have that warm, welcoming feeling.

Good location, priced right, easy room access, quiet, nice staff, and kitchen facilities.

Enjoyable stay. Nice sized room. Nice having a refrigerator., stove, microwave, coffee maker, sink, etc. It was close to my seminar. Felt comfortable.

Only thing I liked was that it was close to freeway.
Reaked of smoke, night staff was terrible, bug in room.

I was shocked being that this was in Santa Barbara..you would think nice & decent for the price. I paid for a non-smoking room and got a smoking room! The night desk gal was too busy talking with her friends to answer the phone when I called down had to walk down to get her attention.

Anyone planning to stay in Santa Barbara and want to stay at a
great hotel you need to pick this one. It was one of the nicest experience at a hotel that I had had in a long time. The staff and hotel room were much better than several 4 star hotels that I have stayed in the past.
