Water is warm, and bed was soft.
Room was small, no pool, they charge for ice, and old.

This hotel is OK if you only plan to sleep there. The room was really small and everything was crammed into that little room. They charged for the ice. That is ridiculous to charge for ice.

the location was nice & quiet. I felt safe
they asked us to be quiet at 5;38pm. I was laughing w/ my "neighbors".

I would stay here again for the price and location. The shower gave me the creeps because it needs to be updated. I liked how the rooms are seperate. But it need's 2 TV's. :-)

They were rude, no visitors allowed, no pool like they advertised.

We showed up and they were very rude, they said that nobody could visit on the property. They could not even come in the room for 5 minutes and posted this. So I agreed to pay extra for more people just so we could have a visitor. The owner kept walking by our room checking on us. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old it is not like I am going to party. There was a heavy smell of curry, no hotel and everyone was just rude even for a 1 star hotel. read more

Continental breakfast was in the check in office/very small.

The room was clean and comfortable. The separate room gave us privacy. It was in walking distance from the boardwalk. We would come again.

Good for the price in this area. Walking distance from both downtown Santa Cruz and the Boardwalk. Room was clean and nice enough.

This hotel is conveniently located and is run by friendly people who make an effort to keep it clean and quiet. It is old and in need of remodeling, but it is well-stocked with toiletries, has free internet and comfy bed and pillows. I found the pink walls kind of charming.
