Friendly staff, comfortable bed and free breakfast. It had all the necessities.
Kind of an old looking room. One of the pillow cases had a few tiny spots of what looked like blood on it. I took pillow case off immediately.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not extravagant but pretty good. The beds were extremely comfortable. The motel was kinda of old looking, but it had all the necessities that we needed.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, they had covered parking which was close to our room. Everything in the hotel was conveniently located.

Not enough parking for area that our room was located.

Very accommodating employees. Spacious rooms, and very quite. Did not hear traffic noise, or neighboring rooms. Provided a good breakfast.

The room did have a nice deck overlooking trees. And, it was close enough to walk to downtown Solvang.
Dirty and it was not the remodel dust.

Perhaps after Holiday Express Inns remodels all the rooms this will be a nice hotel to stay. But, until such time as it is complete, run! The carpet in the room was very dirty. Peeling wall paper in the bathroom and some mold. Missing lamps in the room. This Holiday Express Inn was a far cry from the nice one we stayed in the day before south of Sacramento.

It was available.
Room was in poor condition. Bathroom had awkward shower set up with damaged tiles.

It was outdated, smelled bad, and the tiles in the shower were loose and dirty looking.
