Great breakfast, close to downtown and the beach.
The Ventura hotels are all close to the train tracks.
This hotel was a great deal! We had a very pleasant stay. The beach was a five minute walk from the hotel, breakfast was delicious, and our room had been recently remodeled and was quite comfortable. The staff had good recommendations for pizza and answered questions thoroughly. Those who are noise-sensitive might struggle with the close proximity of the 101 and the train tracks, but this is true for all of the hotels we saw in Ventura. read more

The staff was so nice and accommodating and the breakfast in the morning was really good. Had waffles and eggs and fruit and a lot of juice selections.
Just 1 bed in my room would have liked 2 beds since I had my older daughter with me and it was weird to share a bed.
This is not the best looking motel on that trip by the beach, but it was clean and friendly and had breakfast included and use of the computers in the lobby. It is very conveniently located to the beach and fairgrounds but the train is very close so an occasional one went by in the night and was loud but I actually didn't mind it.

Lot of unexpected surprise, like the cookie and great breakfast.
Everything was great!
Great hotel for the price and location. I was told about train noise when I arrived but it was not a bother for me. Thanks and will stay again.

Excellent daily breakfast.
Check in was at 3PM.
The hotel was with in walking distance of the beach. The breakfast was excellent, not just pastries, but waffles, cereal, eggs, breads, juices, yogurt and coffee. Close to downtown Ventura.

Continental breakfast was good.
Key cards didn't work at times.
I will stay there again if I have another opportunity to travel to Ventura again.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were always clean.
It didn't contain any kind of landscape or even a small green area.

The excellent customer service.

Upon arrival the greeting by the hotel staff was warm and uplifting. There were fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Fresh coffee also. In the morning there was an upgraded complimentary breakfast bar. Make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs & cereal, too much to mention. Microwave & fridge, hair dryer, iron are included. Walking distance to pier & local attractions. Once you stay here you will always want to come back to this hotel! read more
