Cable TV; peeling wallpaper & poor construction.

When signing in, we were told that the rooms were recently remodeled and were new. Our room had peeling wallpaper, unfinished woodwork in the bathroom, and appeared to be still undergoing remodel (or should be). It was clean & the sheets were nice, but overall kind of shabby.

The staff helped as best they could but lacked know-how.

The remote in our room was the wrong type for ordering movies, no
order or menu button they were for basic TV viewing. They were unable to simply swap our remote for another because the replacement wasn't coded for our TV. They had us switch rooms 4 times in one night in an attempt to find a room with a remote to order movies. Once we were able to order movies, the selection was fantastic! read more

Rooms were clean and comfortable, pool and jacuzzi well maintained.

Very nice for a 2 star rated hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Pool and jacuzzi well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was very good, with a waffle maker and biscuits and gravy in addition to continental breakfast items.
