The room was clean.
I had to pay $20 extra because we needed two separate beds and not one queen, but they didn't tell me that until I arrived.
Definitely nothing special, abut it was clean and convenient.

It was in a good location.
We had to spend $20 a night extra to get an extra bed and it was a run down motel.
The room our traveling companions stayed in was a smoking room and it smelled badly and was really small. If you get the upgrade to two double beds the room is bigger but it costs you $20 extra a night. The continental breakfast left much to be desired with one kind of cereal, coffee, juice or milk and mini donuts muffins or bagels. The hotel staff barely spoke English and gave us a hard time about wanting an extra packet of coffee. Overall, I would not recommend the flagship inn in Groton, CT. read more

Location was convenient.
Cleanliness was average, but for an economy hotel, it was fine.
Room was acceptable and was basically clean.

Staff was very unaccommodating, heat did not work in room, nor did
TV remote. Continental breakfast consisted of stale bin of raisin bran.
Spend the extra twenty dollars and stay at one of the nicer chain hotels located within a mile or two of this place. The staff was not at all hospitable, room was a cubicle, heat was broken,
TV remote was broken and
TV got around ten channels. Their continental breakfast consisted of a bin of stale raisin bran in the hotel check-in office.
