Kate from Hiawassee,GA December 3, 2009 Couple 10.0 The room was comfortably appointed and clean.
Emma from New York,NY November 21, 2009 Solo Traveler 10.0 Staff was really helpful!
Description that they had a fitness center was hardly accurate.
Cory from Wilmington,NC November 19, 2009 Couple 7.0 Staff was helpful.
I do wish that they had ice machines. Hotel Guest from Ithaca,NY November 19, 2009 Couple 10.0 A lovely old building, impeccably clean, nice furnishings, very comfortable bed, top-flight service.
Basic room was probably a bit small for business traveler who needs room to work.
A gem of a small hotel in beautifully renovated building. In the midst of everything, yet somehow tucked away and private. Excellent service, nice bar with jazz pianist on weekends. Parking was $31.36 per night including taxes, especially on weekends when the lobbyists have left adjoining K Street and you could fire a cannon without endangering anyone. Reducing this cost is something a smart hotelier could do to fill rooms and win customer loyalty. read more Patrick from Southampton,MA November 18, 2009 Couple 8.0 Very European and intimate.
Rooms were very small and restaurant food expensive.
Ian from Batley,Gabon November 1, 2009 Couple 9.0 Friendliness and efficiency of dining room staff.
Bar not very welcoming and comfortable. Bar staff brusque.
Cathy from Windham,NH October 25, 2009 Business Traveler 9.0 Beautiful lobby, nice room and great location for convention center.
Howard from Glen Ridge,NJ September 23, 2009 Couple 8.0 Relatively small and personal; convenient to central Wash DC area.
Only cookies or sweets to be had in the room were ginger snaps, which my wife dislikes.
The hotel is small, not exactly a boutique hotel - somewhat old, but in updated and great shape; quite comfortable. The rooms are on the small side, but plenty of space for two with good external (window) ventilation. Quick elevator to and from lobby. The hotel has a good restaurant and a very nice bar and bar area. Nancy from Matthews,NC September 17, 2009 Family Traveling with Teens 10.0 No restaurants.
Very clean. Tyler from Greenville,SC August 20, 2009 Solo Traveler 9.0 Absolutely charming.
Room was small.
A lovely hotel with a ton of character.
