Price was right.
A
little off the beaten path.
This is the second time I've stayed here. It worked for my purposes which had to do with a couple of nonprofit boards for which I volunteer. The price was pretty good. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The lobby is small and bleak, not at all inviting. There is parking which is a real plus if you are driving.

The location was pretty good.
Expensive parking given the ample room of this establishment. Room sort of smelled like smoke.

Good location, clean, and a helpful staff.
Received a smoking room rather than the requested non-smoking room.
After a 24hr delay, received a non-smoking room. This was a problem as I'm allergic to smoke and had the predictable reactions the first evening/following day. Second and third night were moved to the appropriate non-smoking room and floor.

It was convenient to Georgetown University and the shopping area and staff were great.
The hotel staff were very accommodating and made the stay enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and I would be happy to stay there again.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.
When I ordered room service the server did not seem competent or outgoing.
I had a great time staying at this hotel. The room was great, the staff were friendly. It was convenient to the Circulator bus and even close enough to walk to M Street or even DC, if you are willing to take the time.

Heart of Georgetown, which requires a certain sensibility.

Nothing.
Dirty, many needed repairs, toilet did not work, called maintenance several times, phone also did not work.
The hotel was itself dirty. The tub/shower had hair in it when we got there. The Phone in the room did not work. The AC unit had to be set at 73 or the heat would automatically turn on. The toilet also needed to be repaired because it kept running. We called the front desk numerous times for these problems.
