The rooms were much nicer than expected.

Considering the price I paid, the hotel was much nicer than expected. I travel on a pretty tight budget and this was by far the nicest place that I've stayed at that was in my price range.

Friendly staff, convenient location, nice convenience store with low prices.

The hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was quiet and a nice place to rest. It had some great extras, like the cupboard store downstairs, where you could buy various items at very reasonable prices. They also loan DVD's for free and have two barbecue grills you can use for free as well (they even provide the tools). The pool is shaded in the afternoon which helps when it's really hot out. read more

Nice concierge staff. Lots of clean towels. 3 kinds of pillows.
Desk chair & carpeting were old and stained. Thin floors/walls, sound travels easily.

Tiny rooms; footfalls and voices of guests on other floors are audible (think: tromping elephants); the carpeting and desk chair in the room are vacuumed/debris-free, but stained. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and 3 kinds of pillows (down, polyfill and foam) were a nice bonus.
