Quality Inn Crystal River

This hotel was not clean enough to stay in. Even after we were told the cleaning staff would clean it while we were out, they never did.

The staff were very accomodating. We needed a down stairs room because my husband just had back surgery and they managed to switch us around to downstairs room next to ice, drinks, pool, etc.

In town for a funeral and the hotel fit our needs. Talking to our family who stayed at other places, we seemed to have the better rooms. The refrigerator was nice to have and the rooms were clean. Had free breakfast but never got out of bed before 9 AM to try it. My Uncle said it was good.

We used this hotel as a short stay over to get to our manatee tour and then back to Orlando. It was easy to get a late check in, 2 am late, and the night attendant was away and attentive! I was drowsy and forgetful - and he reminded me I might need a wake up call - good thing he remembered! Breakfast started early enough to accommodate our 6:15 departure. They were more than happy to give us a late check out to be able to return from the manatees to clean up and shower. No unexpected charges were applied to my card. read more

Overall, not a bad experience. It's an older hotel, but kept fairly clean. The staff was very responsive and professional. Other than a mild musty smell in the room, there were no complaints. For a quick overnight stop it served its purpose. I'm not sure I would want to stay for a week, though.

The stay would have been acceptable if the room was not dusty. Insufficient parking near room

Not to much to say. Other then the manger left before he got back to us with some directions we asked about.
