Nothing.
It was a handicapped room, we had no bath tub and we are not handicapped. Fold out bed was hard as a brick, my 6 year old son could not even sleep on it because it was like sleeping on the floor. And we were placed next to the linen closet and did not get any sleep after 6:00 a.m. because of the linen closet door being opened and closed repeatedly. I did tell the lady attending the check-in/out dept. at the time and she acted like she could care less. We were going to book another night but had to get a room some where else. Would not recommend anyone to stay at the Extended Stay. read more

Cheap.
Smelly, no remote, cabinets were falling apart, looked like pet hair in so called "fresh" sheets.
I was not pleased with my first experience with this hotel. For a two star hotel you would expect at least for your room to be clean and smell fresh. I am not sure sheets were clean, looked like pet hair in them. The room smelled like stale cigarettes even though it was supposed to be "no smoking". Cabinet doors were falling off. Also, I was supposed to get a room with a queen bed and wound up with two double beds. Pretty pitiful. read more

Location, and the price.
Loud air conditioning, tiny room, and a poor breakfast.
OK for the price. Not 2-star at all.

location ok , self help continental breakfast ok, was clean

I was disappointed in this choice made for my stay. It is definitely not a two star facility and I wouldn't recommend it as one.

It was economical and location was convenient.
The rooms are a bit shabby and are definately due for some updating.
Rooms were a bit shabby and could do with some updating but it was clean. After all how much time do you really spend in your hotel room while in Destin.

The location.
My room had a very bad odor. The safety lock on the door was broken. There was no ice bucket in the room.
I would suggest that corporate Extended Stay America evaluate this hotel. Somebody is trying to run the facility on the cheap and it shows.
