I liked the downtown location, and the continental breakfast a step above the rest.
The train that blew it's whistle as it passed till early AM, the lack of staff to address maintenance issues.
The room is overpriced for what you get, but when I voiced my concerns upon check out they were gracious enough to reduce the rate on the room. However, I would not stay in this hotel again mainly because of the train that goes past it on a regular basis.

Convenient, quaint and reasonably priced and
clean.
No complaints - great hotel and I
have stayed there several times.
Great location in downtown Fernandina. Walk to shopping and dining; much better than other tourist towns. Staff is helpful and the air is of a boutique hotel, but with modern convenience. I've stayed there four times and it is the place my husband and I like to go on weekenders. Great golf closes by. He plays golf and I shop.

Good charm for a Hampton, suite room with fireplace very nice.
Would have liked a better view.
Most Hampton Inns are cookie cutter good. This property was better. Suite room great for business or pleasure. Amelia Island and immediate surrounding areas were beautiful.
