Under new management since August 2007 the Hummingbird Hotel has undergone a complete renovation- from the quaint single rooms to the lovely themed suites. Established in 1921 and located in the heart of the art and antique district of historic downtown Lake Worth - Florida. This 1920s era-style historic hotel offers unique old Florida charm with elegant antiques and artwork and is a unique and special romantic destination that rivals getaways anywhere in the world at very affordable prices. This hotel is very convenient and the people there are friendly and very helpful, I would go back again and recommend some of my family and friends.

The only thing that I liked about this hotel is one of the employees was very helpful.
Not only was the owner rude, the hotel is ridiculous! Communal bathrooms.

I had to drive around the area 30 minutes before I finally found the Hummingbird Hotel. I got inside the lobby and was greeted by one of the hotel staff. He was the friendliest people there. I grabbed my bag from the car and the helpful gentleman carried my bag upstairs. How disappointing, a TV being the only things in the room?! I walked around to find communal bathrooms. I asked if there was a bigger room that I could stay and I would gladly pay the difference. I was told no, until I offered to stay somewhere else. I got a bigger room, own bathroom, etc. only to be kicked out in the morning by housekeeping. I will never stay again! read more

Best hotel ever stayed. Just like a bed & breakfast. Extremely accommodating, friendly staff. We were wowed.

Charming- like a bed and breakfast with rooms renewed to their original style. Comfortable. Very affordable. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Could not be more helpful. Added extras at no cost. Full restaurant breakfast and a newspaper. Never had to lift a hand to carry bags. Located in a convenient downtown setting- next to many different restaurants, shops and a theater. Would highly recommend to anyone. The staff prides themselves on making you feel like family and they succeed. read more

I liked nothing about this hotel -it was disgusting-
the hotel was misrepresented .

I work for Marriott inc.. the HummingBird shoud be shut down, I have never seen a hotel like this in my life. we are a party of six. my wife and two daughters with their spouses. we were all discussed and disappointed.
