It was close to universal studios.
Timeshare reps hit me up less than a minute after check in.

Overall
I think it was a very good choice. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the shower had great water pressure with a massage shower head.
I will stay here again on my next trip to Orlando.

The friendliness of the staff made the stay nicer, they went out of their way a lot.
The sinks in the bathrooms stuck out too much for shorter people.

The hotel was beautiful, staff was delightful and ready to assist (and did). The sink in the bathrooms, while brand new and marble, stuck out too much. I am only 5'2 and I could not brush my teeth in that sink. I couldn't reach it when I bent into it. Beautiful and grand but, not user friendly.

The staff seemed to be annoyed at having to work.

A decent hotel for the price. I loved the location as it wasn't directly on International Drive. Being on Universal Blvd was perfect for visiting Citiwalk and other Universal attractions. The hotel staff seemed annoyed at having to work; there was a sort of condescending attitude I felt with which I and other guests were having to compete in both front desk clerks (not to mention being accosted by the attraction ticket salesman in the lobby). The rooms (if in a smoking room) were a bit musty, but that was to be expected if you don't request a non-smoking room. Additionally, it was clean, but clearly an older hotel. All in all, it is a good hotel if you are on a budget. But, I will shop around next time. read more

Friendly warm atmosphere and centrally located on the beach.
The continental breakfast was poor.

All in all the hotel experience was excellent. We first had a room with double beds and was able to switch to a king size bed. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and our stay was quiet which we were looking for. Most important was that it was centrally located on the beach and we could walk to many of the attractions nearby. I would highly recommend it to anyone and of course we intend on going back. One week is not enough. read more

Convenient to I-4.
Room was old, sinks were leaking causing the floors to be soaking wet.

There was no where to park.

It was ok. They need to have more food on the breakfast food menu for smaller kids.
