Convenient location and good pool.
$13/day for Internet; no towels at the pool; broken room A/C.

By appearances, a fine hotel. But, the Crown Plaza charges $13/day for Internet (not even free Internet, let alone WiFi!). The next morning we headed to the pool, and didn't take any towels with us (as instructed by the signage), so that we could get a pool towel. We get out of the pool to find that there are no towels and no one around to help, so we have to ride up the elevator 9 stories soaking wet to our room to towel off. Then we discover our room A/C is busted. Everything else about the hotel was clean, nice, but unexceptional. read more

It was quiet.
Gift was not opened all the time.

Ice machine was broken all through our stay on 9th floor. Hotel not close to restaurants. Free shuttle service was not flexible.

Limited tv channels and have to pay for wifi in rooms.

Hotel in the ideal location for a vacation. Not too far away from parks or shopping. In a safe location and distance to walk to dinning or attraction choices.

Personnel went well out of their way to assure that we had everything we needed and were happy.
Housekeeping was trying to gain access to my room at 8 am on check-out day.

I really enjoyed this stay. As a annual pass holder to Universal we stay in Orlando often. If I am not staying onsite I will be booking at this hotel. Great rooms, very nice personnel, and I was treated like they appreciated my business.

The layout and comfort of the room.
Had to pay for wireless internet. Poor directions from staff.

It's a moderately upscale room with a unique layout physically. The windows don't open at all and there is no balcony, so there is a slight claustrophobic feeling. Overall, a nice comfortable room with no extras (no free internet access).
