Location and and rooms were great.
Front desk stated that there would be transportation to Universal and there wasn't. My two 14 year old had to pay for a taxi. Did not like paying $12.

The front desk inform us that there would be transportation to and from Universal for Halloween Horror nights and there wasn't. My teenagers had to pay for a taxi. I did not plan on paying for a taxi and or the $12 hotel parking fee. By the time I paid the additions $25 for parking and a taxi, I would have preferred to stay a three star that included free parking and free breakfast. read more

The hotel was nice and clean. Proximity to Universal is great and the nicest staff of people I have ever encountered.

Pristine, great staff and plenty of amenities.
$12/night parking fee.

The Doubletree offers hot cookies upon arrival, and sets the tone for your stay. Rooms are large & clean. You can walk to nearby restaurants, and to Universal Studios. There is plenty to do for visitors of all ages, and the staff was extremely polite & helpful. I'd absolutely stay there again.

The beds were clean and soft.
Charged for parking 2 cars at $12 each per day.

Was not happy to get there and find out I had to pay for parking on top of top dollar for the room that over looked the trash and employee smoking area.

Clean, very convenient to Universal, and large rooms.
Nothing.

For the price I paid, I was expecting less quality than I received. Atmosphere was professional and upscale. Within very short walk to Universal (10 minutes at a leisurely walk). This was a GREAT hotel!
