Best Western Suites

The hotel's location was in a convenient location for us. However I was not pleased at all with the check-in process. My family and I waited in the lobby for over 2 hours for check-in prior to us just leaving and going to the beach. Not to mention that we arrived at the location an hour and a half prior to check-in. For our inconvenience the hotel offered us 1 large pizza with 1 topping. Their process was extremely frustrating. Since all of the guests had reservations, we should have been able to go to our room first since we had been there the longest. At this hotel, once you book a room, you are assigned to your room. Thus, if you check in at 3 p.m and your identified room isn't available until 6:30 p.m, you have to wait. This is completely absurd to me. We waited several hours and despite the numerous families that came after us, since their room was available, they were able to check in. The hotels that I'm familiar with don't guarantee a customer with a room number prior to them officially checking in, thus, it allows people to obtain a room successfully upon check in. read more

Overall well worth the price. Main drawback was odor-holding carpet in hallway.

No elevator, had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The phone did not work, said they would fix it but never did. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for extra towels. I asked the maid for extra towels and a pillow, she said she would bring it but never did so again I had to go downstairs to ask for them again. Pool was plain. They claimed to have a full breakfast but it consisted of frozen egg circles and sausage and cold cereal. The dining area was too small we had to wait for a table. The location was too far from the beach. With the traffic, it took us about 30-40 min to get there. The sheets on sofa bed were dirty. The only thing I was happy about was the sleeping accommodations sufficient for my family. I would not stay here again. read more

Large spacious clean rooms, quite and secure. The full breakfast was nice, but could use more tables and chairs. Lighting in the back parking lot was minimal so we opted to park up front and carry our stuff to the room.

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance from the Mall, right around the corner from a Starbucks (which is always a plus). The breakfast was hot, even later in the morning. The rooms were very clean, the housekeeping staff was amazing.

Arrival and check in was effortless and we felt welcomed each and every time we arrived during our stay. We will definitely return and tell our family and friends! Thank you!

Staff was friendly, bed very comfortable, room spacious with all amenities expected.

The staff was not informed on how to use the keys for the work-out room. The rooms were out dated and mostly clean.
