Joesph in the office was GREAT!!! He knew great places to go and to eat!

We were happy with our recent stay at the Howard Johnson's in ST Augustine. The hotel was right next to the Fountain of Youth and the Old Jail. It was in walking distance of historic downtown. We stayed so we could visit Flagler College with my senior. It was clean and well kept for an older hotel. The office help were friendly and very knowledgeable. When we visited Joesph was working the office he knows great places to eat. So definitely ask if you are looking for some great tips for dinner. read more

The staff were very helpful and courteous
Pool was dirty and so was the bathroom in the room

The front desk staff were very attentive. It was a quiet and peacefull hotel in a great location. Room was clean, bathroom was not. Pool was dirty with algae growing in it and same with the spa. Should be about a $59 a night motel. It is not a hotel. Good if you're on a budget.

morning staff were rude.

Nice area. Hotel was old but in good condition and the Spanish style fit in with the Old City. The bed was very confortable and fairly new.

Family suite was great for us, as a family.
We found a used towel behind the bathroom door, the bathroom floor could have been cleaned better.

We were well pleased with our stay there, the beds were clean, carpet looked new. The family suite was spacious. Two bedrooms, king bed in one and two queen in the other one. Continental breakfast was well equipped, cereal, bagels, good coffee, toast and juice. We had our breakfast there.

not clean, especially around the toilet and window.

It was OK good for the money, breakfast was nice. For what we needed it was fine. An inexpensive place to stay for a couple days while seeing the sites in St. Augustine.
