Clean & with free breakfast.
No towels in pool area.
This hotel was a welcome after the previous night at a smoky hotel. It was clean, and practical with children. The free breakfast was more than wonderful & well attended to.

The variety of food for breakfast.
Did not have a
TV channel guide.
Met my overall satisfaction. Did not get to experience everything the hotel could offer since my stay was so short but it is a hotel I would gladly stay in again.

Was easily accessible, quiet, and close to restaurants.
Was a little further drive to Ed Smith stadium for baseball.
Was a good value.

Close to many attractions, very tourist friendly.
Hotel was top class, very comfortable and welcoming. Staff was friendly, room was spacious and lobby areas on every floor made it a friendly place to gather. The pool was excellent.

Good free breakfast.
Was given a smoking room. Smelt like soap!
We arrived at the American relatively late- 10pm. Check-in took less than 30 seconds. As we walked down the hall, we noticed it was clouded with cigarette smoke, even though the doors were all marked "no smoking". We wound up at the last room. Apparently the only smoking room on the floor, even though everyone else seemed to be. I have never been given a smoking room before, but I chalked it up to the late check-in. Still, a "sorry, all we have is smoking" would have been nice. The room had a heavy soap smell- like your grandma's bathroom. I had heard this was a chemical used to cover up smoke smells. I didn't really notice any smoke, but when we got to our next destination, we realized our pajamas reeked of smoke. Other that that, the hotel seemed nice. They had a good free breakfast each morning. It was somewhere higher than continental, but lower than the full breakfast you get at an inn suites or similar mid-level hotel. They even had tasty biscuits & gravy! Rooms were clean and comfortable enough for a few nights, but I wouldn't want to spend a week there. The TV actually had a full 75 channel cable setup. I haven't seen that much outside of la area hotels. They had a strange pay-per-view setup that we didn't use. There was a credit-card swipe attached to the phone for payment! One other odd thing. There was a sign on the refreshingly-large refrigerator that said that each room included two free bottled waters. We never got any waters until we stole a couple off the maid's cart one morning. The location was convenient, though the entrance was hard to find the first time. There are lots of restaurants nearby, but avoid the Perkins in the parking lot. We waited at a table for 10 minutes and a server never appeared. There's a target up the street if you forgot anything¿s wouldn't seek this hotel out, but it's a decent budget option. read more

Nicely appointed, close to freeway for easy access.
The coffee.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was okay but not great. In general it was a good place to stop while traveling.
