Location.
Shabby.
This is basically an older, economy motor lodge style hotel, dressed up with a nicely renovated lobby and a beautiful pool / patio area. As soon as you get past the lobby and pool, however, it is a big disappointment. The rest of the facility is well past it's prime.

They had a great play area for kids, final room was nice.
Hotel staff was rude and uncooperative, argumentative and treated me like I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about,
We were scheduled to have a king smoking room, we got there and they sent us to a room with only 1 queen bed in it. When I called the front they told me that, that was a king bed and that all the rooms were the same, after much argument and finally talking to the manager they gave me a key to a real king room. Also, the cleanliness was horrible. We got back to hotel at 7 pm and there will still breakfast dishes on the tables with food on them in dining area. When they cleaned our room they didn't leave any towels when we went to the front they rudely just gave us some with no apology. I feel like they treated us this way because we were getting a discount, not our fault that we know how to get a good rate, but I feel we should have been treated the same. Staff was horrible, final room ended up being nice and we enjoyed our day at Busch gardens but I would not stay in this hotel again. read more
