The Howard Johnson Tampa North/Busch Gardens is located in Tampa on I-275 at the Fowler Ave. exit(Exit 51). With our convenient location we have much to offer in the way of things to see and do. For those of you with a taste for the exotic we are just 2 miles from the famous Busch Gardens Theme Park. We are less than an hour's drive from the silver sands of Clearwater Beach, and if shopping is your thing, Tampa's University Mall with various boutiques, restaurants, and lounges is minutes away. Children under 18 stay free with parents, and cribs are available at no extra charge. We now feature our RISE and DINE Continental Breakfast with over 10 items plus juice and coffee. Dangerous location, people lurking in the hallways.

Terrible location, dangerous looking people lurking in the parking lot and hallways, individuals banging on the door across the hall at 1:00 am in the morning.

Service and cleanliness exceeds expected for price.
Could use more parking.

While this is not the best location in Tampa, it is safe and the motel is very clean and the service is extremely good. If you are doing bush gardens, this is the cleanest and nicest motel within 15 miles.
