Condition and amenities substandard.

This hotel is misrepresented, the tub jet systems are deactivated in all rooms, no ice is available on premises, maintenance is in arrears, lights in bath broken, shower curtain rod coming down, ironing board missing/unusable. Viewed additional rooms courtesy of housekeeping, all were deficient in some manner, equipment not complete or inoperative, some room layouts are too cramped to qualify for 2-star. read more

Very friendly staff.
Room was a bit dark.

The Jameson Inn Hartwell is a good value. Though nothing special, it is comfortable and quite. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The fresh baked cookies in the evening is a nice addition. The breakfast is simple but adequate. Note the rooms open to the parking lot and the pool is closed in the winter.
