Although it's owned by a certain large hotel chain, this "quaint", "comfortable" property (originally an 1860s warehouse and stable) is "not your typical Holiday Inn" profess patrons pleased by its "pleasant rooms" and "great location" "close to River Street" and historic Downtown; an "accommodating", "affable" staff and complimentary "afternoon tea and piano" music add to the "charm."

it is a glorified motel 6.... NOT 3 star as I paid for!

For a 2 star hotel it was just fine. However, I paid bid on a 3 star hotel and priceline gave me this one. When I arrived at the hotel I discovered I paid MORE through priceline than I would have if I just drove up to the hotel and walked in for a room. VERY DISSATISFIED with the star rating on this hotel. It is a MOTEL that provides breakfast and that is it. Nothing compares this hotel to any other 3 star hotel I've stayed at with priceline. You are doing your customers a disservice by selling this hotel at the star rating you say it is. I got screwed on this deal. read more

I liked the breakfast.
Charging me extra for my son to stay in the room with me and my husband.

I would not recommend this hotel. Pure economy/low-budget. I did like that they had BET and TVone on to view on TV. Most of the hotels that I have stayed do not have BET or TVone.

, Not a 4 stars Hotel , It's a Motel like Days Inn , very misleading, Noisy and Room condition (detorioring)

This is not a 4 stars Hotel as advertized !! Beware It is a 2 stars Motel similar to a Day's Inn. I don't appreciate Priceline to accept this situation. Would not recommend, in front of a truck stop (very noisy)rooms were renovated a while ago, showing evident signs of deterioration.Ripp off chairs, walls and carpet very dirty, beds very soft. Not worthed the $$ stay elsewhere ! read more

Since my husband is disabled , we were able to stay in a first floor room and a handicaped parking space right outside the door.
There was hardly anyone at the hotel on our second & third nights but someone was put in the room over us for those nights.

The hotel was clean and had been updated and the shower in our room was the best hotel shower I have ever had. The beds were comfortable and clean. We had to drive about 12 miles into Savannah but that was no problem. We would probably stay there again for the reasonable price.

The clerk was extremely friendly and gave excellent directions.
They charged us more than half the room rate for extra people in the room.

The hotel was clean and nice. Our first impression was - it's so cute The room was clean and the beds were comfy.

Breakfast.
Out on the interstate.

The hotel was clean and the maid service was good. Our room was a double queen which should have been for two to four persons, but there was a charge for extra guest above two.

It was inexpensive.
It was a motel- not a hotel, loud truck noise from outside.
