The rooms were great and the partial ocean view rooms were full, ocean views from the balconies or from your bed!

I made multiple reservations for a 6 night stay and as a result of my own. Both rooms were partial ocean view and I could see the sun rise over the ocean from my bed, beautiful!

Older, needs some updating.

The Aston Waikiki is in an excellent location. The hotel is older, but clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was well kept. The hotel is in need of some updating.

The security was ridiculous because you had to use your card to use the elevator, they had no toothpaste, no room service.

I liked this place in that it was high quality, clean, and classy. I didn't like that there was so much security but it was probably because there were so many homeless around. You had to swipe to use the elevator. It would assign an elevator to you and then take you. You couldn't go to the other floors and visitors had to be walked in every time. Annoying. I wish there was room service here. Also, they didn't have toothpaste. read more

Free breakfast was not good. Ocean view rm-stand on balcony
and stick head out
and look to R. Their definition.

Would not stay there again. No coffee maker in room. Upholstery dirty on chair. Hair on bath tub. Had iron but no ironing board. Reserved partial ocean view. Discussed with hotel personnel- told if I stood on my (2 foot wide) balcony and leaned my head out
and looked to the R; I could see the ocean. All I could do was laugh.Free breakfast was rolls, juice
and coffee. Elevators were fine
and the
good security. Bed was comfortable. Hotel clerk was courteous
and registration was smooth. Hotel was not what I was use to staying at

We liked the location, the outdoor breakfast, and the security of the elevators.
The bathroom was small and the open door was in the way of the sink.

Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable.
