It was a great location with wonderful rooms.
Nothing.

This was a great place to stay. It didn't even feel like a hotel, it was like a little home right off of the ocean. My wife and I had a great time and would love to go back when we have more money. There is a ton to do in the area and if you just want to relax the beach is a stone's throw away. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there was nothing I would not change about our stay. read more

One room had bedbugs.

My son had bed bugs in his room, stained sheets from them, with several bites. There is no ice machine available, had to buy ice from hotel store. Rooms had coffee pot, but no coffee. I notified the tourist bureau in Maui about the conditions at the hotel. They did look into the bedbug issue that morning. Due to the bedbugs and lack of ice and coffee I refuse to pay bill and will contest it with American Express. read more

personally liked the decor.
Even though smoking was aloud at the hotel, the state of Hawaii makes you feel like a criminal for smoking.

The hotel is nice, the cleaning people are very late for those that want to hang out in their hotel room. We had just come from Australia where breakfast was included with the room price. They could use something like that.
