The staff and the free internet.
The location should not even be listed as Chicago.

This hotel is nice. The staff is great and the restaurant was decent. The location, unless you're flying in and out of Midway and don't plan on doing any business in Chicago, is horrible. No nearby public transportation to get to Chicago. So rent a car and pack a lunch. The traffic is a nightmare! I usually stay in Chicago near downtown or the river. I ventured out this time and will never do it again. read more

Champagne brunch on Sunday was good deal and delicious, good price, comfortable stay .
Bathtub drain was plugged up.

Overall, it was comfortable and well worth the price I bid on. If it wasn't so far from Midway 40 traffic lights I would stay again. The bathtub drain was clogged.

The room could have been more decorative. Nothing on walls.

The DoubleTree hotel has an extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was plain but clean.

Comfort of bed, pool was large enough to swim laps.

Everything was clean, neat, and quiet. The pool temperature was perfect and pool was clean. Also, it was large enough to swim laps. The window leaked (raining) overnight and when I reported it the next morning, the desk attendant phoned in the repair immediately. The restaurant was upscale and a little too pricey for families, but the selection on room service was good.

Comfortable, clean, very helpful & friendly staff, provided extra meal coupon, great breakfast & lunch.
Had to call hotel as Chicago address is difficult to find.

Very comfortable beds, very clean, restaurant upscale with good selection and tasty. Great bargain price for so close to Chicago Midway Airport and mid town sights, shopping centers, freeway, but very quiet despite busy location off freeway ramp.

Far from Midway. Did not have MSNBC on cable.

This hotel was listed as 3+ stars, and this is simply ridiculous. It's fairly bare bones, a Holiday Inn-like bathroom, and not at all close to Midway Airport. Also it was very hard to find, which is not fun late at night before an early morning flight.

There was a private party that night so the noise level and hallway traffic were loud until after 2:00 am then by 6:00 am.
