They had nice live plants in the lobby
The pool room was freezing, we ran out of toilet paper, and the maid entered in the morning without knocking at 9am.

It was obvious that the Park plaza chain had just purchased the hotel from the Radison and hadn't remodeled it yet, but I think that they could have at least provided enough toilet paper to last us 1 night and 1/2 of a day. I also had higher expectations of the pool and hottub

Decent hotel. Not a 3 star. If on the Algonquin road side, can hear traffic. Rooms facing e/w are less noisy

room was nice
temperature of pool water was too cold for an indoor pool

The room was clean. I've stayed in better, but I've also stayed at worse. Check-in and out was fast and easy. Hot tub was nice. Indoor pool was too cold. "Fitness center" was lacking.
