We are conveniently located off of I-74 between Neil St. and Prospect Ave. The Champaign Fairfield Inn is moments away from the Marketplace Mall whose stores include: Macy's, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor Loft, Eddie Bauer, Bath & Body Works and many more. We are also minutes away from downtown Champaign where you can find local retailers and a wide array of local dining options. Champaign is also home to the University of Illinois. We are a short drive to Assembly Hall, Memorial Stadium, and the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. The hotel was pretty nice. The continental breakfast was limited but convenient. The staff was nice. I only had 2 concerns- 1. the walls and ceilings are thin- so kinda noisy. 2. I stayed on the first floor and my room faced the parking lot, which was no big deal until the maids left the drapes WIDE open. I was traveling for business, so had some valuable things in my room that was on display for all to see. When I brought it to the staffs attention, he didn't seem very concerned, which frustrated me even more. read more

Reliable Fairfield quality.
Room smelled a bit musty.

Location is tucked in among numerous hotels near the mall. Keep looking if you don't see it. Very nice breakfast with make your own waffles which the kids love to do. We didn't swim, but it looked like the max it was 3 feet deep. I love the 2 different pillow choices for each person. Nice down comforters.

Location, location, location.
The pool room was not very well ventilated and the room itself was very hot.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We were even invited to the reception of a maintenance person who had been married that afternoon which we could not, unfortunately, attend.

I like the convenience to U of I and the variety of restaurants nearby.

It served the purpose for what we needed. The breakfast and coffee in the morning were appreciated. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Room was nice and had an indoor pool. Its a must during the cold months.

Over all I was extremely pleased with my stay. The staff was really friendly, and the room was spacious and nice. The location was awesome, next to multiple restaraunts, shops, and my favorite there was a Dunkin Donuts down the street.

The pillows were so soft and they gave five per bed instead of the usual two.
My friend was sent flowers with specific instructions and would not have recieved them if I hadn't asked about them

Rooms were very pretty and the beds were comfortable. We had a hard time regulating the heat but that could have just been our room. The shower was a nice size and the bathroom had enough space to move around. Hotel staff was very friendly.
