Great, modern-looking hotel.
The rooms were nice but some little things were not completely finished.

Convenient to Michigan Avenue. Loved the hotel. Staff was great. Great little pub.

Added fees, expensive parking.

If you don't have a car, it's a great place to stay. If you do have a car, it's an additional $45 per night. The rooms are small, but adequate. There were 3 of us, so we also had to "upgrade" to a 2 queen-bed room. That was an additional $40. However, the location near the Miracle Mile has it's advantages.

I loved the location, and the beds were very comfortable.
They charged extra for 2 beds ($40/night), the outlets did not work, there wasn't a fan in the bathroom, and the heater did not work.

This is a nice hotel, but is not a four star hotel. The rooms are nice, but small. We did not have outlets that worked, there was no fan in the bathroom, and our heater did not work. It seems a little run-down.

I enjoyed the arrangement of the room as well as location.
The walls were a little "thin" and the plumbing was loud.

Located in the heart of Chicago, The Avenue provides a relaxing escape from the shopping and site seeing surrounding you.
