The men at the door were very friendly and welcoming.
The women behind the desk made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them.

I was immediately welcomed into the hotel and greeted until I reached the front desk and I felt like an inconvenience to the woman behind the desk. The hotel was built to put as many guests as possible into the building. The hallway was tight and the room was so small I would be surprised if the bed didn't come out of the wall. I woke up to my neighbors who were not speaking particularly loud, but I could hear their conversation perfectly. What a pleasant way to wake up. read more

The room was very small.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and would definitely go back. The room was nice but quite small. It work for my wife and I, but it may be an issue if you are traveling with kids.

Location, and comfort for the price, as well as ease of in/out.
Extremely small rooms, which were okay for this trip.

Nice boutique budget hotel in an excellent location in Chicago, parking is close, and convenient. But based on size of room, this ranks more as a budget hotel, but bedding and room amenities were of a higher level. For my one night stay is was perfect and a good value for my money.

Smallest room ever, queen size bed took up the whole room, was like sleeping in a closet.

Location is perfect. Staff is very friendly. Comfortable beds.
Slow elevators. Can hear lots of street noise and noise from hallways.

The hotel is in a perfect location for shopping and dining in downtown Chicago. Many attractions are nearby. Public transportation is also very close. The rooms are quite small, but the beds were comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast from 7-10 was very convenient and saved money. The main complaint is the slow elevators and lots of noise from outside and hallways can be heard in the rooms. read more
