The lobby was beautifully decorated for the Holidays.
The parking was $53 a night, no self park available.
The staff was wonderful. We used the valet parking ($53 a night) because self park wasn't available but it was very convenient. Check in took less than 5 minutes including great information of events and happenings within walking distance of the hotel. We walked around town for a couple hours and then ordered room service for dinner from our room. It came pretty quickly and was delicious. They brought the food up on little hot plates (warmers) so the food was still so hot that you couldn't even eat it until it cooled. When we left we were able to take the elevator directly to the garage to get our car, which was waiting for us when we got down there. All in all a very good experience. I was just really glad we had gotten such a good rate on the room since the parking was so high. read more

Location.
Small rooms, not much in amenities.
Great Michigan Avenue location. Convenient to all Mag. Mile attractions. Higher up rooms have decent views. Lounge, although nice, is very small and hard to get in to during busy hours. Also very pricey. Parking was very expensive.

Location, quality and amenities.
Our room was next to the elevator and stairs so a little loud.

The location was perfect, close to everything. It was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful.
While the valet parking was nice to have and the staff was nice, it is much more expensive than valet parking at other downtown Chicago hotels.
It was the nicest place we have stayed on our many trips to downtown Chicago. We won't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

Perfect location for anything you wanted to do in Chicago.
This hotel was beautiful. Our room was spacious, one of the biggest hotel rooms that I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was huge and looked very inviting even though we did not use it.

The bathroom in the hotel room was dated.
Fantastic location with every amenity you could ever want or need within 2 blocks of the hotel.

The room decor very nice, clean, good service information available. Close to lots of Chicago's finest shops and restaurants.
Rooms smaller than other 4 star hotel as well as nice restroom facility but was hoping for a tub with jets, etc for the price.
Very nice and clean hotel! parking is quite pricey. My daughter age 20 loved the Starbucks in the hotel. The Zest restaurant at the hotel had good food, very pricey, one bowl of oatmeal $8.50.

Great location.
Small dated rooms with stained carpet and flaking paint.
Over all good stay, although I would be extremely disappointed if I had paid full price. The rooms were small with stained worn out carpet, chipping paint. The hotel definitely shows its age. I would not rate this 5 star. It was nice, but no more than 3 stars.
