Friendly staff, clean rooms, and nice location.
Morning coffee was not consistent.

The Courtyard in Bloomington has a great location for enjoying the down town scene and is close, but not too close, the the University. Ideal for business travelers and parents meeting up with the kids at campus (without having to go to the dorms). Bloomington has a bed bug crisis now, but the place here looked great.

Clean, comfortable beds. Had Ethernet for husband's business needs.
Breakfast buffet is expensive.

Room is standard and comparable to other mid-grade hotels. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is not included, is buffet style and pricey. Coffee and hot water for tea is available all day. No refrigerator in room. Parking is off-street and adequate, with lighting.

Very spacious rooms!
Front desk clerk upon check-in was very rude.

Huge rooms! Tons of room and clean as far as could see. Ventilator in room was going nonstop so made it a little noisy, which was actually kind of nice because you could not hear much else. Front desk clerk was rude and not friendly upon first approaching desk. However, the manager and rest of staff were great!

Outbound emails did not work.

The hotel operation was adequate. Except for one thing. Business travel mandates that out bound SMTP works for email. I was immediately put in touch with tech support for the hotels IT service. They repeatedly did not call me back and report as to why outbound email did not work. This went on for three days and the problem was never fixed. Thus, up at 6:00am to go to Starbucks so I could do business, simply gave up trying at night. Lame. read more
